So I have been really addicted to this thing called pintrest. If you haven't heard of it you are missing out. I love it. It gives such great ideas for anything you have ever thought of. I love all the things they have with ideas to do with kids. I have done a few with Adelynne already and I have many more to do! Here are a few we have done so far.

Painting:

What you do is have your kids paint with different things around the house. It was fun going around finding things that would work. This is what we found in all of 5 min. Legos, toilet paper rolls, sponges, forks, balloons and a pipe cleaner. There was so much more we could have done. But I didn't want to overwhelm her with choices. I taped four pieces of white paper together and let her go to work. She had such a great time and loved to see what design everything left behind. She ended with a great picture. Such a fun craft and really costs nothing...Here are a few pictures...

Homemade lava lamp:

This was alot of fun. Adelynne loved it. All you need is water bottles, cooking oil, food coloring, water and Alka-seltzer tablets.

Fill each bottle a little more then half with oil. Then fill the rest of the way with water. Leave about an inch at the top. Then add 10 drops of food coloring. Break your Alka seitzers in pieces. Then drop them into the bottle and watch the magic happen over and over again.

We wanted to see what would happen if we put the whole Alka seitzer in....it went crazy and came out the top. Addi still thought it was cool:)

Homemade maracas

Adelynne loves to make music so she really loved it when we made a musical instrument. We actually did this a really long time ago. She found it when she was watching cartoons and begged me to make it. So we did.

All you need is small water bottles, wooden dowels, rice, paint, stickers and glue.

We painted the water bottles and wooden dowels first and let them dry. Then added some rice to the water bottles. put some hot glue around the wooden dowels and stuck them in the bottle. she added some stickers to make them look cute and then she shook away. She had a great time running around the house making lots of noise! Here are a few pictures...

Slime:

This was fun. I wondered if Adelynne would like this one or not, because she is kind of funny about texture so I decided to do it when her cousins were over and she ended up loving it. All you need to make your slime is:

Borax, Elmers glue, Water and Food coloring

How you make it:

Start by dissolving a teaspoon of Borax in one cup of water and set it aside.
Then pour the Elmers glue in a separate bowl. (You can use either clear glue or white glue for this)

Then add water to the glue and then add a few drops of food coloring. Once that is all stirred up, pour your Borax mix into the bowl. You will instantly see masses forming. You then want to use your hands at this point and kind of stir and smoosh and try to get all of the solids. It will be wet and soft at first but you have to keep kneading it. The moisture will knead out or absorb (just toss the liquid left in the bowl) and soon you'll have a nice blob!

Newspaper Nails:

This was fun. My sister in law was over one day and we decided to try this. We didn't think it would be all that hard. Little did we know... Well lets just say its easier after you figure it out haha. I mean it doesn't seem all that hard haha all I can say is you just really have to play around with it.

All you need is normal fingernail polish (we did a creamy white) regular alcohol, newspaper and clear fingernail polish.

All you do is paint your nails with the color fingernail polish you picked out. Make sure and let it dry COMPLETELY or you will run into some trouble. Then put some alcohol on your nails. We did it with using a q-tip. It seemed to work well. Then roll on a little piece of newspaper and take it off after just a few seconds. Don't have it on too long or you will run into some more trouble. One thing we did find out after we were almost done and we had started over just about a million times...if you do mess up don't feel like you have to start over from the beginning. We were dumb and took it off with fingernail polish and started over and over again. ALL you have to do is rub it off WITH YOUR FINGER and the news paper words will come right off yeah we were stupid and didn't try that. we tried to wipe it off with a paper towel and it wouldn't work...but the finger does! it would have not taken us even half the time if we had figured that out at the beginning. So be happy I let you in on that tip haha. Anyways then after your done with all your nails make sure and paint the clear finger nail polish on or it will end up coming off. We learned that one too...like I said once you figure it all out its really fun and turns out great. SO good luck.

Mummies for Dinner:

It was funny because I had just seen this on pintrest and later that day Brandon text me saying he had an idea for dinner. When he started to explain it I couldn't help but laugh because I was wanting to do this too. We made these cute little mummies for dinner. You just need little hot dogs and croissant roll dough. I had Adelynne help me make them. She was funny about it but had a great time helping. She did a great job too. You could tell the ones she did but I was very proud of her. she would take the "body" and a piece of the croissant roll dough and say "you wrap it and wrap it and wrap it" until she had it all wrapped around the mummy. haha it was cute. We baked them until they were golden brown. We added some eyes using mustard and then came the fun part we got to eat them. I couldn't believe it, our Addi ate like 9 of them. That is a big deal for her because she really doesn't eat much. She just thought it was a fun dinner. I will have to find more fun dinners like this if it means she will eat better:). She loved it. Breathing treatment

Bentley gave us a little scare a few weeks ago. He woke up with a bad cough and I could hear him wheezing and noticed he wasn't breathing all that great. I waited until Brandon got home because he knows all about this stuff and I knew he would know what to do. Brandon listened to him and checked him out and told me to call the doctor. We got him right in. They were worried it would turn in to RSV or croup. The doctor had us give him a breathing treatment. Bentley was funny because all he wanted to do was eat the mask, but it made it where he was breathing in the treatment like he needed to. They then checked him out and his lungs still didn't sound good so they gave us some more breathing treatments to take home. Which that was exactly what Brandon was hoping for. The doctor told us to continue to watch him and if he didn't get better after the treatments we needed him to be seen again. So home we went. We did the treatments and everything else we knew to do. It took him a few days but he started to get better. We were so grateful it didn't turn into something worse. Its always hard to see your baby sick. He is all better now. We are so glad. It was cute when we did the treatments at home he wasn't loving it so his sister would play with him and entertain him to make him happy. She is so good at doing that. Whenever he starts crying she is right there trying to help him get happy again. There are times that she is the only one to get him to stop crying. I just think it is so sweet their relationship together. I love watching him. We did take a few pictures of Bentley taking his treatments.

6 months...

I really don't know where the time has gone. I can't believe our little guy is now 7 months old! It's as if he grew overnight. A few weeks ago I did some pictures of him for his 6 month photos. He wasn't really up for it. He was in the best mood before we started the pictures, but I guess when we were doing pictures he decided he wouldn't be happy or something. So we only got a few good ones. I guess I only really need one good picture of him. So I am happy with what I got:) The unexpected happen... Adelynne wanted to take pictures...! This never happens. She normally is not up for pictures. The sucky thing about it was that she wasn't all done up. Her hair had fallen out of her pony tail. In the back it was really bad but it was ok in the front. She had a dirty face, but we dealt with that and she wasn't in the greatest clothes. It worked with the background. I guess what I am trying to say is that I don't have to have everything perfect to get a great photo of her. I love how they turned out. haha I just find it funny how she wasn't ready at all but we ended up with a great shot! You would have never known:) Here they are...

6 month check up

Bentley is growing so fast. We had his 6 month check up. He is doing great. Mostly in the 90th percentile for everything so he is a heathy boy. He had to get four shots and he didn't like it. Also before we went to his appointment Adelynne was asking us if she had to get shots that day. We told her no it would be only Bentley. She was very happy about that. But little did we know she was going to get a shot. We all did haha. She wasn't happy about that. I wonder if she will believe us next time. Poor thing. Anyways, it was a good check up! Here are a few pictures...

Disneyland

We went to Disneyland the first part of September with some of my family. We were all so excited because My sister Jenny and her little family had never been before so we were so excited to go with them. It was a really fun and also a stressful trip at the same time. But we always love any part of Disney so we enjoyed ourselves. We headed to California on a Sunday. We all decided to take it easy and drive to Primm, Nevada and finish the drive the next morning. We also wanted to go to the Hoover Dam and spend some time there. It was so HOT there. It was around 110 degrees at the Dam. It was killing me. Some of us stayed in the car and others walked around. I couldnt handle the heat. It was making me sick so I was one that stayed in the car. We saw enough of it as we drove around:) Afterwards we went to the hotal and got some rest. That next morning we all got up bright an early to get an early start to make it to the Disney park when it opened. Well, we got all loaded up in the cars everything ready to go and we get in to start the car...Well our car that is new and doesn't have very many miles on it wouldn't start. We couldn't believe it. We all tried what we could to get it to start but couldn't get anything to work. So we tried Onstar for help and because it was a holiday it was all kind of a joke. So we decided to leave most of the luggage with our car and pack everyone in to the other two cars and head on to Disneyland while my hubby and Dad stayed behind with the car that wouldn't start to get things taken care of. I felt horrible for leaving them. We had to make the best of it. I don't know all that went on because we weren't there but it was just a nightmare for them to get everything done and back on with the trip. We ended up having to rent a car (spending $1400...yeah wasn't planning for that) and leave our car to get fixed and then we had to on the way back pick up our car and return the rent a car. What a mess that was. It really was too bad because it made for everyone all stressed about everything and so the first few days weren't the greatest because of that. Once we got the Disney spirit going we had a wonderful time. It was so fun watching my sister and family experience everything for the first time. We think they loved it. It was also nice because we were able to all stay in a villa together at the Grand California Hotel. We always try and stay there when we go because it is such a beautiful hotel. We also stayed the last night at the Disneyland hotel and that was really nice too. That was the first time I have stayed there. It was really nice. We had a 4 day hopper pass and then we also spent a day at the beach and that was a blast. The guys spent the time in the waves. Brandon said it was really cool because as the wave went over him he would look to the side and see alot of fish in the wave. I am sure that was cool to see. I stayed in the sand with the two kids. Adelynne was terrified of the water but at least she played in the sand a little. She did the best when I had her stand on a towel. She is one that doesn't like that kind of stuff...Bentley on the other had loved it. I dont think he loved how cold the water was but he liked the sand alot. This was his first time at a beach. He also took a really good nap in his car seat under an umbrella. It was just right for him. We all had a great time at the beach. When we were at the park sometimes we split up and did different things. One of the days we did the breakfast with Minnie and Friends in the park. My parents went with us but the other families went on their own. We had a great time at the breakfast. We got to see so many characters. Adelynne of course was scared of most of them. She would occasionally surprise us and say that she wanted to take a picture with some of them. We are not sure why she picked the ones that she did. We were just happy that she wanted to. Bentley loved them all. He was so cute with it. I think his favorite was Minnie. He loved grabbing her nose. It was so cute to watch him. We got a lot of good pictures. After breakfast we spent the rest of the day at the park. We spent most of the time with my sister's family which was fun to show them around. We got all the pictures in that we wanted. For example, in Toon-Town with mickey mouse and Minnie. It was a fun day. This was the first time that Adelynne got to ride all the big rides. We kind of cheated and helped her grow 2 inches. But hey, it got her on the rides. She was so funny to watch. I think my favorite with her was Tower of Terror. Her face was priceless. She tried them all and was such a big girl about it. She didn't cry when waiting in line. You could just really tell how nervous she was because she was shaking like crazy. As long as we were holding her she was just fine! We couldn't have been more proud of her. She LOVED Soarin' over California. I lost count how many times we went on that ride. It was really fun with her. We are glad we spent all the time we did before to find a way to make her tall enough:) We drove home all day saturday. We even watched the BYU game on the road on our laptop. It's amazing how you can do that nowadays. We are just glad we were able to go and have a great time. We can't wait until we get to go again. Enjoy all the pictures.... Park City

Well, this was just about forever ago that we went to Park City with Brandon's family. But I still wanted to do a post about it because these are some of my favorite pictures. We had a great time. We ended up having to go twice because the first time we went we got rained out right at the end of our day. We had the coaster to ride left so we were sad but it made for another fun time at Park City. So we did it all; went down the alpine slide, did the coaster that was a first for us, and all was really fun. I think I would have to say the coaster was my favorite. Adelynne did everything and loved it. She is so fun on how she is up for trying anything as long as we talk about it before we go. We get her so excited about what ever it is we are doing and she is ready to go. Kind of fun. So here are a few pictures from both trips. We had fun!

Rolling and Talking

Bentley has made a few milestones over the past few days. His first was rolling from back to tummy. He does it all the time now. It just took him one time to figure it out. Now he is a pro. You can tell he is so proud of himself every time he does it. Here is a video of him doing it for the first time.

The other milestone is he is saying "dada". He was making sounds like he was saying dada but I didn't want to count it until the other day. He would say it after I said it. It is so cute to hear him do it. So as for now Brandon and I are one to one. Adelynne said "mama" first and Bentley said "dada" first. He is getting better and better at it every day. Its funny though because it doesn't matter what he is doing when we say dada he stops and gives the biggest smile and sometimes a little laugh. For some reason he finds it funny when we say it. Its cute! Here is a video of him doing it.

Picture overload

Alright so I got really behind with blogging again... so much has been going on the past month or so I haven't had any time to blog. Sooo...I am just going to do a picture overload. I could have done a blog post for each thing and there is so much that I am not even putting on here because there is so MUCH! But here are a few of what has been going on and just some cute pictures of the kids because they are so fun:) Enjoy and I hope to not get behind AGAIN...

Adelynne is growing so fast. She is so fun. but also can be a little stink:) as most 3 year old are:) We do have alot of fun with her. She is starting to come more and more out of her shell. She still suprises us every time when she decides to talk to someone she doesn't know. But we love that she is finally wanting to sometimes. We just enjoy her so much!

Bentley he is also growing so fast. We are in love with his big smile. He is such a sweetheart and loves to socialize with anyone. We love it!

Both of the kids are just so sweet with each other. Miss Addi is always thinking about her little brother. It is so fun to watch her with him. Bentley is just in love with his sister. She can always make him smile and laugh. I could watch them together for hours. I love the relationship that they have already grown together.

Well I am really sad that I am doing it this way. But I will never get caught up if I don't do it this way. So that is us for the past month or so. We have had a lot of fun and have had a lot going on. I hope through the picture you can see that we are just loving the time with our kids and life together. I am so grateful that I have two beautiful children that are healthy and a husband that loves me no matter what. Life may be hard but we look for the best out of it and make the best out of every opportunity. Here's to the journey ahead of us:)

Maryland

The first weekend of August we thought we were going to Maryland to find a place we would call home. Brandon got a great job offer given to him that he would have to be out there by the 25 of August. So we had about 2 weeks to figure out everything to get us out there. I had family shoots and 2 weddings between that time so I was very busy and so we only had really one day to fly out there and look at homes. We left Friday at about 5 PM and got into Maryland at about 10 PM. And by the time we got to the hotel and all ready for bed it was midnight. We had appointments starting early that next morning and not to mention they are 2 hours ahead of us so we knew that we wouldn't have much sleep and we just hoped for the best with the kids. That morning we were on our way looking at homes. The area is just beautiful with all the green lush hills. We fell in love with the area. When we got to the first home I think that is where it hit me that I really didn't know if I could do this but I still went with an open mind and continued on looking through the home. It was a beautiful home all but for a few small things. So we kept on going house to house. There was just something wrong with each of them. There was one house that freaked me out because when we went in the basement it was covered in mold. The guy that was taking us around even was talking about how bad it was that we didn't want a thing to do with that house. How big of a health hazard it was. That was enough for me. I was ready to get out of there. Anyways we loved the Frederick area but just couldn't find the right house. Brandon and I talked about it and we both felt the same way that Maryland was just not the place for us. So sadly we turned the job offer down. We did want to make the most of the trip and all so because of how much it was to fly us all out there we decided to drive an hour away to Washintion DC. The kids did really well considering they had no sleep the night before and were on a plane all evening. Bentley took a nap every chance he could get. Adelynne even got in a little nap on the way as well. We had a few melt downs but for the most part it went well with the kids. Adelynne got to learn about the penny. She thought it was cool. She went in the building that's on the penny. We really did make the best of it. We then got some rest and flew out that next morning. We left the hotel at about 8am Maryland time so it was another early morning for us. We had one lay over this time. The first flight we were split up so I had both kids by myself while Brandon had a nice quiet ride about 5 rows up from us. Let's just say I was about ready to pull my hair out by the end of the flight. Both kids were just so tired and just wanted to be in their beds not stuck on a plane. A sweet lady behind me tried to help but they just both wanted mom. I really think that was the longest 2 and a half hours I ever had. So it was good we had a lay over. It made it where we all could get out and get happy again. The last flight we were all together and of course the kids were just angels and slept the whole time. I couldn't believe it but I was very grateful at the same time. It was a fast and crazy trip but it was a wonderful trip non the less. I know for myself it taught me alot about myself and brought us as a family a little closer. Now we just wait to see where we get called next. We did take a few pictures along the way...

Bentley is a growing boy and he loves food. We have been feeding him lots of baby food. There are some that he loves and others that he doesn't like at all. I took a picture of him every time he tried something new. If your friends with me on facebook I am sure that you got sick of all the updates. But that is kind of a way to remind me what picture was what. and I just really thought there were some really cute faces he pulled so I wanted to share. Here they are...

It has been so fun seeing what he loves and what he doesn't. He loves to watch us eat and is always reaching for any food he sees. So far he is a GREAT eater. I just really hope it continues because we already have a non eater with Addi. So it would be nice to have a child that eats. He is just a cutie.

A special day

On July 9th it was a special day for one of the Thompson families. Both Kloe and Rhyle were baptized by there Grandpa. My dad. I am so grateful that I was able to be there to witness a special moment. It was so neat just to have the two baptisms but it made it even more special that my dad was the one who got to do it. It was his first time doing it in the past 26 years. Also the night before he gave me his first fathers blessing. That was very special. I have never been given a fathers blessing before and I always wanted one. I remember in school when it was the first day I would have friends talk about how their fathers gave them a blessing the night before and I was always so jealous of them. I always wanted one. Well I am now happy to say that I have had one. It was beautiful. It made for the next day with the baptisms that more special for me. It was neat because before they were baptised we had them take pictures. There were many tears shared. It was so fun to see them all dressed in white. Here are the pictures.

One funny thing that happened when Rhyle was walking in to the baptismal font he was walking down the stairs and slipped down them. haha it was too funny. My dad was holding on to him so he didn't go all the way under but he was close. Just leave it to Rhyle to make us all laugh. It will be a cute little memory he can tell his kids:). It was a beautiful baptism. You could really feel the spirit and the love and happiness that Heavenly Father has for their family. So many blessing coming to our family. Congratulation Kloe and Rhyle. Love you!

Also just last night Kaydi was baptized by her Grandpa Butler and my Dad did the confirmation. It was another beautiful blessing. Kaydi looked so pretty. Also her sister Graycee gave a wonderful talk. I was so proud of her. She did a wonderful job. It was a great night. We also all went out to dinner. It was great to have everyone together. Stadium of Fire and Independence day

We had a great week end with going to the Stadium of Fire and then having a great Sunday with my family and then Monday evening with Brandon's family. Bentley enjoyed his first 4th of July

And both of our kids did so great. I figured Adelynne would be just fine but I was very worried about Bentley with how late it was and how loud everything would be. We had him take a little nap before and we had ear plugs and just hoped for the best. When we got there I waited to go and feed him until David Archaleta and Brad Paisley started the show. By the time I came back from feeding and changing him Brad Paisley was finishing up his performance. Even with all the loud music going on he still found a way to fall asleep.

I couldn't believe it. It was good for him though because it made it where he lasted the rest of the time. He woke up in time for the fireworks and he loved and watched it all. I was very happy how it all turned out. He was done though when we got to the car and had to fight all the traffic home I don't blame him because we didn't get home until about 12:30 or so. But we had a wonderful time. Here are some pictures from the show.

On Sunday we spent the rest of the day after church with my family. We had yummy food and great weather. Outside the kids played in the water and ate popsicles

The adults talked outside then went in and played a card game until it was time to do some fire works. My dad keep on saying we shouldn't be doing the fire works on Sunday but we all didn't listen and decided to do them anyways. Well we should have listened because the first fire work we had go off started our neighbors bush on fire. My brother got it to go out then the next one something went wrong because it started shooting out at us. It was going all over and went crazy. It hit my sister in law in the leg and hit houses and cars all around us. It was bad all the kids went screaming into the house. It was very scary so after that happened we were done. My dad was right we shouldn't have been doing them on Sunday. But we ended the night with a bang:) We did do some sparklers. Adelynne was scared of them so we tried to get her to like them but we didn't succeed.

On the 4th we took the day easy and went up to Brandon's parents for dinner and hoping for a better fire work show. We did have a great fire work show.

And we got Addi to like the sparklers a little more. She is still scared of them but we got better pictures of her with them.

First Solid Feeding

We did the first solid feeding with Bentley the other day.

He did pretty good for the first time. Adelynne gagged so bad her first time. I thought for sure he would have done the same because he is always choking when he is nursing. We have been feeding him every night now and he is just getting better and better with it. Last night he was leaning forward to get more. So I think he likes it. I can't wait to see what kinds of food he will end up liking. Here is pictures from his first feeding. He is such a chunk! He pulled some great faces!

He doesn't take bottles so this was the first time she fed him. She has been wanting to so badly so she was very excited to do it:)

Like I have said before he is growing fast! We just all love and enjoy him. Its so fun to see him try new things!

Our little guy is already sitting up. He really is! No one believes me until they see him do it so here he is.

We had a very scary experience this past Sunday with Bentley. We still don't know really what happened but we all feel that it was heat exhaustion. This is the story...

We had just gotten out of church and when we went out side it was warm and windy so I put that blanket shield thing they have for the car seat because Bentley doesn't do well with the wind. We stopped to talk to some friends. We were outside for just a little bit then we got in the hot car and went home. We were in the car for all of like 2 min. When we got home we took Bentley in and my mom went to take him out. She mentioned how clammy and wet he was. I noticed how white he was. I hate to say this but he looked like he was dead because of how gray he was. He also felt very cold. He wasn't really responding so we turned on the light to look at him more. He was just so white and his lips and under his eyes were blue. So we started to take his clothes off and when we got most of them off he vomited everywhere. I couldn't believe how much he did. I would never guess he could have so much in his little tummy. So my mom took him from me so I could run and get Brandon. When she took him he then again vomited all over. So I ran down to get Brandon, who was asleep because of his work schedule. It was I am sure a scary way for him to wake up with his wife running in the room yelling that there was something wrong with his son. He jumped out of bed and ran upstairs to see what was going on. Bentley was still very white and was just so limp and not responding. So we decided to rush him to the ER. I don't know how fast Brandon was driving but I know we were flying there. I was just trying to keep Bentley from going to sleep because that's all he was trying to do. I took him in and told the ER people what was going on. The guy looked at me and said ok you need to fill out the paper work first then we will call you back...I was like are you kidding me! I have no idea what is going on with our baby but you want me to sit and fill papers out. I couldn't believe they didn't take us back and make sure he was breathing ok...So we sat and filled out the papers. By the time we were done and before they called us back. Bentley was responding and he wasn't as white. I couldn't believe it. It almost got to the point of wondering why we even came down. Anyways once the doctor got to us Bentley was his happy self and his color was back. They took an x-ray of his abdomen and it all came back normal. So they just said they don't know what is wrong with him and sent us home. I was so unimpressed with everything. There may not of been something but we didn't just go down there to fill out papers and let him smile at the doctor...So we at home diagnosed him with heat exhaustion. Its better than what they did at the ER...as you can tell I wasn't happy about them. Especially the money we had to pay for nothing...I am just grateful that he is ok and nothing came of it. He just likes to scare us. But he is such a good little boy. We did take one picture of him. He doesn't look too happy but this is when we are waiting for the ER doctor to see us.

Again I am so grateful that nothing came of it. We did take off the thing that covers the car seat and will not be using that anymore and would highly suggest that no one use those things. Because it really could have turned out so differently.

Fathers Day

We had a great Fathers day. Adelynne was so excited about the gifts she was giving to her Daddy and Papa and Grandpa. When she woke up none of the men were awake in the house yet. She was just waiting for them all to wake up. I guess she went into my parents room and put her face by her papas and was just waiting for him to open his eyes. When he did she told him "Happy fathers day, but I can't give you your tie yet" then gave a little giggle and walked away. I thought it was to cute when my dad told me about it. I wanted her to give her Daddy his gift first so she was so patient for him to wake up. When he did she was able to give her daddy his tie. Then went and gave her papa his tie. She had to wait until church to give her Grandpa his shirt. When she saw him church had just started but she couldn't wait. Brandon told her she had to wait until sacrament was over to give it to him. She got so sad and upset because she didn't want to wait any longer. So they went out and got him his gift haha. It was just funny to watch her excitement for the men in her life. I just wish I would have gotten a picture with her and them. I don't know why I forget those kind of things some times but I do. She wrote her name on the boxes all by herself. She did a wonderful job I thought.

I also had to speack in sacrament that day. I was so nervous but it was great being able to talk about my wonderful Dad. He is just so wonderful. Here are a couple pictures of my dad and I when I was little. I love to look at old pictures:)

I also thought it was cute while we were getting ready for church. I walked into the bathroom to Brandon and Bentley looking in the mirror while Brandon was trimming his hair. Bentley was just smiling so big. I just thought it was the cutest thing. I had to take a picture:)

It was a good day. Poor Brandon had to work that night. So for his father's day dinner he didn't get to eat it until he got home. So he warmed up his steak at about 3:30 the next morning and enjoyed his father's day dinner. We missed him. I am just so grateful for wonderful fathers that I have in my life. What a blessing they are.

Texas

We went on a short little trip to Texas. The main reason we went out was for a funeral that was going on for some one on Brandon's side of the family. We were excited to go so Brandon could show me around his mission area. It was fun to see some of the places he went and spent some time getting to know. There were some places that were a little on the scary side but it was fun to see. I just loved watching him kind of go back down memory lane a bit. I could tell it felt good for him to go back. His dad was also having a wonderful time going back down memory lane. We went and saw the house his dad grew up in. He even got daring and knocked on the door so we could walk through it. I was glad he did because they always talk about how amazing that house was, so now I know exactly what they are talking about. It is a very beautiful home. But yes we went all over the Houston area. We had a great time. It was really warm and humid but we still enjoyed it. In fact Bentley loves the warm weather. He was so funny he just loved it out side. I am just glad we finally made it there. Brandon has been wanting to take me ever since we have been married. We got some great pictures. enjoy!

The flight there I didn't have Brandon with me. I did have his parents but you know how it is you kind of just want your spouse there because they know how you like things done. But I was grateful for the help his parents gave me so I wasn't totally alone:) Adelynne got really scared when we had to go through the security part. She didn't like how they made her take her shoes off. It was as if she thought they wouldn't give them back. I had talked to her a little bit before so she kind of knew what was going on. She was scared to "get scanned" as she would call it. So I had to hold her through it all and that was not easy trying to have Bentley and all the stuff that we needed to run through to get scanned. Anyways we made it and finally got on the air plane. I guess I didn't talk to her enough about the security part because we talked alot about the plane and she did great when we got on. She loved it. She just sat by me and was asking a million questions about everything that was going on. Bentley did great through the whole thing. He really liked his first time flying. He did get a little fussy here and there but that is to be expected for babies while flying. Anyways we had a nice flight in. Addi went back and forth between us all. She liked playing and watching movies on her itouch.

Bentley fell asleep for a bit which I was happy about. I was really worried because he doesn't like to be held when he is sleeping. He likes to be put down and he puts himself to sleep. So I was worried what he would do when I couldn't put him down. He didn't sleep for long but he did sleep.

Right at the very end of the flight, right before we landed Adelynne of couse fell asleep. so she got a mini nap:)

Speaking of naps I don't know if it was the heat or what but Adelynne would all of a sudden just fall asleep. Like the first day we were there she was just talking like crazy and one second later she was out cold. It was the funniest thing. I couldn't believe how fast she was out and that she actually took a nap because she never does. it was cute how she feel asleep with her turtle. This first picture was just secouds before she was out cold:)

Bentley was such a trouper in the car and did very well for the most part. We were in the car most of the time too. He is just such a good boy!

Brandon joined us at about midnight that night so we were happy to have Daddy with us the next day. We first went to the funeral then went to the Houston temple. We got some great pictures there.

Adelynne wanted and asked for a picture by herself. She always makes mommy so proud when she does that. Let's just say that doesn't happen very often:)

The next day Brandon was the guide and showed us around some of his mission areas. He had a great time doing that.

We also went to the aquarium that they have there. I think Adelynne liked it. She was just really nervous about a few things.

We also went swimming that night. Adelynne was SO scared of the water. I think I need to get her in swimming lessons or something. I couldn't believe how scared she was. But we did get her where she would sit on the side and splash the water with her feet. Something was better then nothing.

This was Bentley's first time swimming. He seemed to like it. He just looked around, I am sure wondering what in the world he was doing. But he loves the water at bath time so I am sure he just felt like he was in a big bath tub or something. He did great!

Then the next day we took it easy in the morning and then flew on home.

We did find a road sign that fit Brandon so well:) it was "Brandon's way"

We also found a store that was named Gregory. We had to get a picture:)

When we went home I was happy to have Brandon with us that time around. Adelynne did MUCH better about everything. I was very happy about that. Bentley didn't do as good on the plane. I had to stand up with him for some of the flight. He also had a pretty good blow out of his diaper of couse when we were going through alot of turbulence and we needed to be seated. So Grandpa got stuck with helping me clean him up because he was sitting by me. Grandpa got some poop on him and everything. If you know Keith you will know why I find it kind of funny it all had to happen to him. But I was just grateful for his help. We were able to get him all cleaned up and he was happy again.

We had a great time on the trip. I learned alot of great things about Texas. One thing that I learned to love there was their Shipley donuts they have. Man are they to die for. SO SO good They need to get that franchise in Utah or maybe not because I would be eating them all the time and I would end up gaining about 100 pounds. But anyways they are super good. I am sure we will be going back there again. It was just nice to get away for a few days!

A few weeks ago we went to the new Alpine water splash pad and park. It is really fun. It took awhile for Adelynne to warm up as it always does but when she did she loved it. I hope to go back soon. It is a fun place for kids! Anyways we got some fun pictures.

Eagle Mountain parade

We went to the Eagle Mountain parade. Adelynne loves to go to parades so she was excited to go. I thought Bentley would have liked it because he loves to be outside. Well I didn't think about all the loud noises you get from the parade and Bentley has a hard time with loud noises. Not sure if it is just because of all the problems he has had with his ears from day one or what but he didn't like the fire trucks or drums or bag pipes. He would just scream every time anything like that went off. Poor thing. I ended up in the car at one point because he was crying so hard. I couldn't get him to calm down so I went in the car with him and he did much better. So I don't think we will be doing that again for a while until he is older. I just hope as he gets older he will do better with loud noises. Anyways before the parade started we were able to get a few cute pictures of us. So this is Bentleys first parade:) Adelynne loved it as always. She just hung out with her aunt and cousins! (I put a hat on Bentley so he didn't get his little bald head burned. So glad I did because I sure got some sun!)

Tummy to back!

I am excited to say that our little guy has rolled from tummy to back. He did it so fast the first time he did it. I kind of did a little bit of a loud yahoo and scared him after he did it. I felt bad because it took him a while to calm down. But I was an excited mommy:) We kept trying to get him to do it after and of course he wouldn't do it when we were recording him. He did it a few more times before we got it on film. Here is one video of him trying to do it. I just think its cute how he looks up at me and also how his big sister is coaching him along:)

This is the first time we got him recorded after we got him in his bath but he is so tired and so not happy so he cried after

I hope to get another video of him when he is happy. He is growing up so fast. I can't believe he is already rolling over:). Good job Buddy!

We have a chunk on our hands. Bentley had his 2 month appointment the other day. I was guessing he was going to weigh between 12 and 14 pounds. Well I guess I was right he weighed in at a whooping 14 pounds!

He is such a chunk. When the Doctor talked/showed us where he was on the charts when he came to his weight he just laughed and said he has no problem gaining weight. He is in the 90th percentile. I couldn't believe it. He is getting so big. He has so many rolls already.:) But I just have to say I would much rather have him in the 90th percentile instead of 9th. It just means he is eating and is very healthy. When he was first born he had such a hard time with eating and I was so worried about it. Well I need not worry anymore, he is doing great:) He has caught on great that he loves to eat now:) anyways...

He just smiled and talked to the doctor while he was checking him out. Such a happy little guy:)

Now I have to laugh about the size of his head because for the Gregory heads that is small:) Adelynne was always 90% or above. So he just put it all in to his weight. haha.

They had to give him some liquid stuff that he didn't like at all. He would act like he swallowed it but a second later it would all come pouring out of his month. tricky little guy:)

When he got his shots he did so great. The first one he just looked at us like "Hey what was that?"

Then the second one he was like "ok there is something going on here"

and the last one we think he decided "Hey that really hurts!" haha

Poor thing just screamed. I picked him up and he had his big pouty face going. (I do have to say it is such a cute face:))

He was such a tough boy. He took a good nap after. Then when he first woke up he wasn't happy so I feed him and he was good for a little while. Then the storm hit and he was screaming like crazy and nothing would calm him down. He didn't want to eat or anything so we gave him some tylenol and we could tell when it finally kicked in because I was able to get him to sleep. We put him in his swing and he slept for awhile.

When he got up after that he wasn't as upset but he sure wasn't happy. He did like his bath like he always does which was good to see his cute smiles. Then off to bed he went. He woke up alot through out the night. I could tell that his little legs just hurt. I felt so bad. I hate when the little ones get shots. It just throws them for a loop. But I know that it is good for them so we will do it all again in a couple months. I just hope he is like Adelynne and gets better and better with them every time:) we shall see.:)

A Day with Daddy:)

Do we really have to have a reason to blog? well I hope not because I didn't have a big event to blog about but I just want to say I love my little family. They just mean so much to me. It makes me sad how each day go by so fast. Like yesterday we got to have Daddy home with us all morning until he had get some rest so he could leave for the night shift at the Hospital. The day went all too fast. We miss him so much because he is working two jobs now and when he is home he is trying to catch up on much needed sleep. So when we get Daddy all to our self we want to make the most of it:) we went on a little walk where they have a new little area nearby that you can fish and play in the water. We havent gone yet. So we decided to tried it out. On the way we were able to say hi to the cows and a few horses. Adelynne didnt like the cows. she just said they are stinky. haha yes they are:). then we walked around the water. we were hoping to feed some ducks but there was only one duck and he ended up flying away. We were sad about that. I think we will have to go back and let Adelynne play in the water and maybe try some fishing:). Its nice how close it is. here are a few pictures.

A Blessed Mother's Day:)

What a wonderful Mother's Day. We were able to bless our sweet little Bentley. It was a great Mothers Day gift:) It was also just so nice to have all the family together in church on Mother's Day. I was just grateful for all that came. I really didn't think that many would come so I was very touched by everyone. So thank you for making the day special for us. We love you. Bentley was blessed by his father. He did a wonderful job. I am so grateful that he holds the priesthood. What a blessing it is to have the priesthood in our home. After the blessing we had a little lunch at the house and I felt bad because we just barely had enough food. and I know that not everyone got something. I just wasn't expecting everyone to be there again. I felt so loved by all the support from everyone. It was just a wonderful day. Some of my family stayed around and we had a fun game night. We always love that! It was just a really great day! I just want to say how blessed I feel to be a mother. That my Heavenly Father has trusted me with these special children that I adore. They teach me so much everyday. It truly is the best feeling to be a mother. I also want to thank my sweet mother who is so amazing. She is such an example to me. I just hope to be as good as a mother as her some day. I have alot to live up to. I am just so grateful that she is my mother. I also want to thank my other mothers out there like my mother in law, my sisters and sister in laws and other really close family and friends. You know who you are:) thank you for all you do and the love you share with us. I sure hope you all had a wonderful Mothers Day. Love you all.

2 months old

At 2months:

Little B is smiling and we have even gotten a few giggles. He holds his head up pretty good. He loves to watch his big sister. When you tap his hands you will get a smile every time! There are times he loves to cuddle but there are alot of times he just wants to lay on a blanket and be left alone to watch all around him. He loves to look at pictures. There are times when you are holding him and a picture is where he can see it he will just be so calm and look at it. He LOVES bath time. There are times when he is crying and we start the bath water he will stop crying and give a cute little smile and he just about always cries when we get him out because he want to stay in longer. He puts himself to sleep every night already and I LOVE that. On a good night he will wake up about 2 times a night. But on a bad night it's a totally different story. He takes really good naps during the day. I love that to;). He is a pretty happy baby but like all babies he has his moments. He is growing so fast. He is already so big to us. He LOVES to eat now a days. So thats maybe why he is growing so fast. He is really trying to figure out his hands It is fun to watch him trying to work them like putting them in his mouth or touching things in front of him. He is also starting to recognize people he knows like mommy and daddy. I love the looks he gives me when he sees me. I can just tell he is like "hey I know you":) He is just a healthy baby boy and I am so very greatful for that. We love him so much;) happy 2 months buddy!

I think one of the sweetest sounds is the first little laugh of a baby The other night when we were just getting to bed. Bentley give us his first laugh. I was just starting to record him because he was smiling so cute at his Daddy. At first I didn't think of turning on the lights and I so wish I would have because this is the only laugh he gave us. So you can't really see him very well but you can hear his first laugh. Its right at the begining and its not very loud so you may want to turn up your volume to hear it. I just think it is so sweet. Way to go buddy!

Here are a few more random pictures in the past month or so just because:)

Bentley loves his bath time. I thought he looked so cute in his towel so I had to take a picture of our little frog:)

He is getting so big!

Every day when Nana or Papa comes home Adelynne has to hide. It's just pretty much having a blanket over her head. That's all she wants and every time Nana and Papa play along and will say "Where is Addi?" They will start saying things like: did she go outside? did she go down stairs? Things like that. Then they grab the blanket and find her. She loves it. There are times where she will want one of us to hide with her. Here is one time she wanted her Nana to hide with her. haha What a good sport Nana to get down on the kitchen floor with her to hide haha.

Bentley finally fits in the bumbo. I loved this chair with Adelynne. He doesn't seem to like it as much as Adelynne did. She would sit in it all the time and as long as I wanted her to. He does pretty good. Some times he cries because he doesn't like it as much. I hope he will like it more as he gets older. Because this chair is so convenient. I love it! He just looks so cute in it and so BIG haha:)

One last picture that I know you will all love haha not...anyways Bentley has got some power when he poops. We went to a funeral last week and my brother was holding Bentley and well he let it loose. My brother kept saying he had to be making a big mess. So I took him and went to change him Well it was all the way up his back and all over his legs. It was so bad so I wrapped him up in a blanket and put him in his car seat so we could go home and change him. I felt bad that he had to sit in it on the way home but it was so bad that we had to change him at home haha didn't he make a pretty mess haha

Yea its gross. Adelynne really never had this problem but we deal with this very often with Bentley. haha He is a true boy haha:)

Easter!

We had a great Easter. The fun started the day before when we had some of the grandkids on my side over to color eggs. They all had a great time as they always do. Adelynne of course wanted all her eggs GREEN. She did a great job! Here are some pictures of them coloring the eggs.

On Easter morning we woke up to find that the Easter bunny had visited and left some fun things for Adelynne and Bentley:)

They also got some cute Sunday clothes. This was the first Sunday Bentley went to church. We went to Brandon's brother and sister's ward because they were singing. Lets just say he didn't make it very long, so I was out walking around with him most the time. Then we left after sacrament.

We first went to Grandma and Grandpa's house. The Easter bunny (Grandma and Grandpa) left some things for Adelynne there too.

I stole an egg from Addi so Bentley could have one:)

Then we went to Nana and Papa's house We hid the eggs we painted the night before. Addi helped her little brother find an egg. Such a big sister! This is one of the eggs they found together!

They also got a few things from the Easter bunny (nana and papa) um I am not sure why I didn't take any pictures but I didn't haha. Addi got some candy with this play pop gun that is really fun and Bentley got this way cute toy and candy. Thanks Nana & Papa:)

That was our day! We had a great day. Holidays are so much fun with little kiddos:)

April Birthdays

I don't know about your family but we have alot of birthdays in our family in April. And I know alot of people with April birthdays so it is a busy month. One of the birthdays is my birthday on the 8th. Brandon had to work most of the day but when he came home he took just me out to dinner. So that was the first time we left baby Bentley. It was weird not having a child with us but it was oh so nice. Then after dinner some of the family came over for some ice cream cake. Then my family stayed and played cards. It was a great birthday! Here are a couple of pictures when we were home for the cake. I wish we would have taken a picture at dinner...Oh well....

Another birthday was my moms. We got all the family together for dinner. We all haven't gone out to dinner together for a long time so it was nice to have all 25 of us together. We went to Carrabbas for dinner and we had a cake saved for after dinner so we all enjoyed another birthday cake. It was a fun night. I just love spending time with my family so much. We always have a great time. Here are a few pictures from the night (sorry the pictures are so bad. They are taken with my Iphone and it doesn't do so well when its darker. So they make us look kind of creepy haha)

As you all know we have been living at my parents and they don't let us pay rent so we pay them with new appliances. So for my moms birthday we gave her a new microwave. We hope she likes what we have picked out so far haha:)

Anyways there were many other birthday parties that we went to and we also missed some as well. So I will do a little shout out to all the family birthdays we had in April. Sure hope you all had a wonderful birthday:)

I got a little blog happy today...I just posted like 5 new post so don't miss out:)

Brandon has done it! He has finished his second associates degree and has passed the BIG test. Today he received his license so it is official. I am just so proud of him. He has worked so hard to get to this point. There is still much to be done before he gets to where he wasnt to be but we are one more step closer. He is doing a few more classes to get his bachelor degree. He should be done with that in about 5 months! He has also got a part time job at the Jordon Valley Hospital. we are hoping that it will turn in to a full time job soon. But we will take what we can get at this point. I am so excited for him to start:) anyways here he is opening his license. He thought I was dumb to want to take pictures but I am just a proud wife:) Congratulations hun. Love you so much!

Adelynne loves to draw. She is always coming to us and showing us what she has drawn. Most of the time its just a big scribble but some times we can really tell what she has drawn. Like today while she was waiting for her breakfast she drew me a picture. She came to me and said "Look mommy its you and Daddy" She is a great artist:) it totally looks like us:) don't you think?

I took these pictures of Bentley when he was just a few weeks old. It took me a few tries to get what I wanted but I finally got it. Its funny how I do pictures of other babies and have all the patience in the world for them but when it comes to my own kids I don't have any patience at all. I give up like crazy haha. I don't know what it is. I know that I am not the only photographer that feels that way. I have had many conversations with other photographers that feel that very same way. So when people think I should have a million pictures of my kids well I may have alot but not like people think. Its just too hard haha. anyways I do love how I finally got what I wanted:) well one picture that I wanted I wanted alot more but like I said I gave up:)

Bentley has been smiling so much. He started smiling awhile ago. But I am finally posting his first smiles. These pictures are not great because I am trying to get him to smile and take the pictures at the same time. and of course when I bring the camera out he doesn't smile as big. But these will do. He is just so sweet. So these pictures were from a few weeks ago but this is when he really started to smile at his mommy. Love it!

Brother and Sister Love

Adelynne sure loves her little brother. She is so sweet with him. When ever he spits up she will clean him up. When he is getting his diaper changed and is crying she will come and hold his hand and talk to him to help stop crying and most of the time it works. Bentley already loves to watch his big sister. I love it when Adelynne will say to him "I am here buddy don't cry" or "Oh mom he is so cute" They are just so cute together. I love it. Her are a couple pictures of the two of them So you can see how sweet they are together.

I also took some of the two of them when I was taking Bentley's newborn pictures. I love how they turned out. I tell you what though if you only knew how hard it was to get these you would be amazed we even got one to turn out. haha. But I am glad we got all we did:)

And can you believe that our little guy is over a month old. Time is just flying by so fast. It feels just like yesterday we brought him home for the first time:) He is getting big so fast. He is becoming a little chunk. He has lost his newborn look. I am kind of sad about how fast its going. But its so fun to see him grow. In this next picture he is 4 weeks old:)

I don't want to forget about this experience so I thought what a better place than here to document it:). So this may be a long post...

Our little Bentley has had to have a few extra tests done since he has been born. The tests being hearing tests. In the hospital they always do a hearing screening and alot of babies don't pass because they have fluid in their ears and it takes a few days for it to go away. Adelynne didn't pass on one of her ears and then the next check up a week later she was just fine and passed. So when Bentley got tested in the hospital, he didn't pass on both ears and so they said they would just do another test next week. We thought it would be the same result as Adelynne and he would pass. But it was different, he did not pass. So again they had us make another appointment for the next week and again we got the same results. He didn't pass. So they had us make another appointment at this clinic in the Utah Valley Hospital, where they do a more indepth testing to find out if he was deaf or if he had any amount of hearing. We were very worried. So many things were going through my mind. So that whole week was really hard not knowing. The next week came and we were prepared for the worst. They told us that they needed him to be asleep for the test so we went early so I could feed him in the car and have him fall asleep. Well my plan didn't work because he wouldn't go right to sleep like he normally would right after eating. So we went in and was hoping he would just fall asleep. When we got there they decided to do the same test they had done the weeks before just to make sure it was all the same result and yes it was. He didn't pass. At this time Bentley was still awake and wasn't very happy. I could tell the doctor was really worried about the next test because they really needed him to be still and calm for the best results. He looked at me and said "we really need him to go to sleep. Is there anyway you can make that happen?" So I held him and was just praying that he would fall asleep. After a few minutes he was asleep! The doctor took us in to another room and talked about the test. How it would take about 2 hours. I again was worried because he wanted me to lay Bentley down and I knew he would wake right up because he likes to be wrapped up really tight or he wakes right up when you put him down. So I asked him if I could just hold him. He looked at me like I was crazy to want to hold him still for 2 hours. He said it was up to me. I knew that it would be the best thing to do. So he set up a chair for me and we got Bentley hooked up and we began the test. After about the first 15 min the doctor started to have this worried look on his face and then started saying really quietly "That is so weird" and that was it... he would say that very same thing about every 10 min. I was just sick to my stomach and was dying to know "what was so weird"...and I wanted to scream if he said that again:) Well the test ended and again he said "That is so weird"and again that is all he said. Then he said "I want to do the first test we did when you got here again." So he went and got the machine and did that test again. When he finished the test he looked at me and said "I don't understand it. This is so weird... He just passed with flying colors!" My heart just about stopped I couldn't believe it. I was expecting him to say he had no hearing. He talked about why he thought it was so weird because normally when we get sent to him there is something always wrong. He really has never had it happen this way. and he couldn't understand how just 2 hours before he didn't pass that very same test... He also said he wished that every screening could go like this because its so hard to have to look at the parents and tell them that there baby cannot hear. So he looks at me and with the biggest smile he said "Your baby can hear!!!" I just wanted to cry. I am just feeling so blessed and so grateful for such wonderful results. So that's what was so "weird" He told us that we could have him tested again in a year but most likley we didn't even need to worry about doing that. so HE CAN HEAR! I really feel it was all the prayers in his behave. It truly was a miracle. So thank you to those who said a little prayer for our little guy:) We are so grateful.

A little something

So I haven't been good at blogging since Bentley arrived, so I thought I would share a little something that we did on St. Patrick day

Addi loves this day because everything was GREEN, her favorite color:) We had green waffles and green milk. Adelynne love them and is still talking about them:) here is a picture

Brandon's aunt gave Bentley this cute outfit for his first St. Patrick day. I thought it was fun!

Also that night they had matching PJ's. My brother and sister in law stopped by that day and brought them these cute PJ's. Bentley wasn't happy about taking a picture, he was hungry and ready for bed. I thought they looked cute and Adelynne of course loved matching him:)

And another for the heck of it. This was one morning around 3am. he was wide awake. But he is such a sweet little guy I just love to watch him:)

He has started to smile a bit. The only one that has been able to get a few smiles from him is my mom, his Nana:) she has gotten 2 big smile from him. His aunt penny has gotten a good smile from him. He better smile at me soon:) I am just a little jealous:)

Well this isnt much but I just wanted to say we are all doing well:)

Bentley Wayne Gregory

Warning this is a long post....

Introducing....

Well our "some day" has come. Bentley Wayne was born on March 7th, 2011 at 11:49am, weighing in at 6pounds 15oz and 19inches. Here is the labor story...

As you all know I was thinking that he would arrive early all by himself. Well that was not the case. We tried everything we knew to get me to go into labor. On the 3rd my uncle scraped my membranes in hopes of getting me going. But nothing came of it other then lots of cramping and I lost my mucous plug. So I was induced on Monday the 7th. On Sunday night I got a phone call from the hospital telling me that they would call me tomorrow about an hour before we needed to be there. It kind of made me go crazy a little not knowing what time I needed to be there. So most of the night I was just stressed about it. Well Monday morning came and we got a phone call just before 8am. The lady said that they were very busy and so they were moving through the list of people very fast and we needed to be there by 8:15, no later or they would move to the next person in line. So we jumped out of bed and got ready as fast as we could and then we made it right on time at the hospital. It took awhile to get all the info they needed and everything ready so around 9:30 they checked me to see how far I was dilated already on my own and she was amazed because I was already almost at a 6. So I guess I would have been in some time that day anyways because I was dilating very quickly. They went ahead and got the Pitocin going anyways and also broke my water. The nurse then asked me if I wanted to get my epidural now or I would have to wait about an hour because they were just getting ready to do a c-section. Well lets just say I was grateful that I listened to myself and went ahead and got it then, instead of waiting. Because I don't think I would have been able to get one at all. It all went so fast. After they got me all hooked up and ready, they checked me again and I was at an 8 and then about a half hour later I was ready to push. Like I said it all went really fast. I could feel SO much pressure because of how fast it all went. It was crazy. I only had to push about 9 times and the little one was out. So really I was only in labor for like 2 1/2 hours. I couldn't believe how fast it went. It almost went too fast for me. I couldn't believe that he was already out when they put him up on my stomach. When he was born he came out screaming. I was so grateful for that because Adelynne didn't breath for the first few minutes. So that was a wonderful sound. I did love how they were able to put him up on my chest after he was born. They just had to take Adelynne over to help her breath. So they were not able to do that with her. I just thought that was neat. Brandon then went and got Adelynne from the waiting room to bring her in to see her little brother. She was so curious about him. I really wonder all that went through her mind. She asked to see my tummy. She was really trying to understand it all. It was cute. Everyone came to see him later that night. They all decided to come at the same time. The nurse came and checked Bentley and his sugar level was REALLY low and it made her and us all very nervous. He wasn't really eating and they think that is why. So the nurse kicked everyone out and we tried waking him up to eat. He was having a really hard time and wouldn't eat. So after trying all that we could, she finally ended up feeding him with a feeding tube. She then watched him very closely to know if he needed to go into the NICU or not. Greatfully he didn't have to and was ok. Then the next night he had a very high fever and then again made us all nervous. We striped him down to his diaper and let him cool down. After a few hours it went down and again we were very grateful. Also that day he had his circumcision done and they were waiting for him to pee. Well he wouldn't and went more then 24 hours with out doing so. So when they were discharging me as we were going through all the paper work. The nurse thought we should just let him lay without his diaper and see if the help of the air would make him go. So the nurse went down to sign a paper and well Bentley gave it all he had and peed on her! haha. It was to funny, something you wish you could have had on video. So yes he was able to come home with us. I was so happy. He is doing so great. We have had our struggle with feeding but he is getting so much better. He sleeps great. But I will take anything better then what my Addi was. She was NOT a sleeper at all. So I feel like I am almost getting spoiled with this one:) I just feel so blessed to be a mother to 2 beautiful childern. I just love and adore them so much. So it is weird for us to have a child that likes to sleep. But oh do we love it:) I still get up a few times at night but I will take that. Addi would be waking up ever hour when she was a newborn. Some day...

Yes I am still pregnant... normally this wouldn't be a problem because technically I still have like 12 more days until my due date. But I had it in my head because everyone was telling me that I would go early and I really thought I would too, because of how Adelynne came 3 weeks early. So in my mind I am about a week overdue and it is really starting to get to me. I am just really ready to have this baby...but on the other hand maybe not...I just think my hormones are really playing a game with me right now. I am just really stressed about a lot that I shouldn't be and it is making me crazy. I just almost feel helpless in some ways...With all that being said....I am fine:)

Last week Adelynne came to me and said "Baby Bentley is going to come on Friday mommy". I told her that would be wonderful. I hope you are right. So friday came and well no baby. I asked her that day "I thought you said baby Bentley was coming today?" She then told me. "Maybe tomorrow". The next day came and she said, "Baby Bentley will come some day mommy. I know it". She then would through out the day come up to my tummy and give it a little pat and say, "Bentley you can come out now. I want to hold you" or "When are you coming out Baby Bentley." It was just too cute. So now every morning when she comes and gives me a love she pats my tummy and says. "Some day you will come out..." She is such a cutie. She just puts a smile on my face everyday. I really need that:) So as she says. SOME DAY...as for now here is a couple pics of my growing belly. I don't know how it can keeps getting bigger and bigger but it does:)
